Coaching With Jeff

What I Do

I am coach, advisor, listener, brainstorming partner, whatever meets the need in the moment.

I work with those seeking transformation in their lives or impacted by it. You could be a leader trying to shepherd your organization through a change, a professional or “volunteer” organizational change manager trying to figure out WTF to do with “those people” you work with, or in transition yourself from one place in life to another. I know this shit can be hard and not always what you feel like dealing with, that’s OK.

I’m confident that if we both show up vulnerable and authenticate, steady, present and grounded we’ll get it sorted out.

Who I Work With

  • Senior Leaders: I’m pretty sure at some point you’ve had the responsibility of guiding your organization through a change…probably not once but all the friggin’ time. I’ve never worked with a leader who wasn’t up to the task even if they didn’t think so at first. To be a great leader, it’s a core skill. Whether it’s being an effective sponsor of strategic, tactical or enterprise change, finding/building/keeping the right team, connecting and persuading others or just getting yourself out of the way, it’s all part of the mix. I’m here as a coach, thought partner, goal setter, planner, troubleshooter or advisor to help you up your game. I’ll show up for you with both vulnerability and authenticity with a firm intention to form a 1:1, confidential partnership. I want you to leave our relationship feeling like you can successfully lead your organization through change.

  • Organizational Change Managers: 20 years ago I was new to this role too; not knowing what the fuck to do, how to move forward or deal with the responses to changes; from leaders, employees, customers or vendors. I know it can feel like a shit-show at times and you’re the star. We’ll work together on sticky situations, planning for change, dealing with resistance, building confidence, getting support, navigating leadership challenges or whatever is you need to navigate what’s coming your way. This is all about partnering so you can show up and do your very best work.

  • Personal Change: Not all change is organizational, it’s personal too. If you’re looking at chasing that dream of yours, restarting, rebooting, getting happy, making space, at a fork in the road or maybe, just maybe, getting your shit together for once, let’s talk. I know what it’s like to feel stuck so let’s get unstuck. We’ll figure it out, make a plan and make that change happen so you’re living the life you want.

What YOU CAN Expect

I use an integrated framework that combines the best approaches and principles of leadership coaching, mindfulness and organizational change management; tailoring what’s needed to your specific wishes, desires or objectives. This framework serves you in creating a customized approach to your development; equipping you with the skills, mindset, and strategies needed to guide yourself, your teams and/or your organization. The goal is to build on your skills, values and beliefs to foster adaptability, innovation, and sustained success.

You can expect me to create and hold a safe space where we can confidentially talk about what is going on and you can leave with a clearly defined list of next steps, homework or areas of reflection for us to continue working with the next time we meet.

Free Initial Consultation

When you contact me I’ll reach out via email to schedule an initial meeting (usually about 15-30min)

In that meeting we’ll:

  • Get to know each other a bit

  • Talk about your experience with coaching

  • Go over the ground rules

  • Share our backgrounds

  • Learn what you’d like to get out of our time together

  • Answer any of your questions

  • If it looks like a good fit, schedule our first session and establish our regular meeting cadence

How We’ll WORK Together

  • Virtual coaching sessions are 50-minutes

  • Each session can be on the same topic or something new that has taken priority.

  • You drive the agenda to:

    • Identify goals or outcomes to help you get the most out of the session

    • Review or get feedback on any steps you committed to in an earlier session

    • Explore values, perspectives, learnings or limiting beliefs driving you toward or away from where you want to go

    • Build an action plan to get there

    • Address any stuff that might get in the way

    • Lock-in that plan so you can take the next step on your journey

    • Confirm or schedule our next meeting

If that sounds interesting to you or you have questions, please reach out to schedule some time to talk it through.

What Clients Have to Say

  • Jeff is an excellent coach who asks questions that truly get to the heart of his clients' challenges and opportunities. I found in working with him that he has a calm, measured demeanor while also holding me accountable and gently pushing me to self-discovery. I really enjoyed my work with him and would highly recommend him as a coach!

  • Jeff has a unique ability to create the space I need to help me focus and consider priorities in my life to elevate my performance personally and professionally. He makes it comfortable while asking really powerful questions to unlock the answers I know I already have.

  • Jeff's coaching has undoubtedly made me better. His consistent support and the challenges he presented encouraged me to dig deeper, creating an environment where improvement became a natural outcome. Additionally, the safe space he provided allowed me to open up, contributing significantly to my overall growth.

  • I experienced a safe, trusting and compassionate container while working with Jeff, who met me where I was. Throughout my career transition, I never felt alone, and his presence was so grounding for me at a time when I felt uncertain about myself. Jeff’s coaching approach provided a structure that supported the many moving parts I was learning while beginning my private therapy practice. We anchored into my strengths, then applied them to various exercises when working on my confidence and self-esteem. This work provided me great insight and instilled self-compassion and understanding about myself. I look forward to working with him again in the future.

  • Jeff is an excellent listener. He was always able to reflect back a solid understanding of what I was trying to convey and would add his own insights and questions which helped me to gain new perspective on a problem or issue I was working through. Working with Jeff felt like a supportive way to navigate a time of vulnerable transition and offered me ideas and practical tools to use between sessions to make progress on goals I set for myself.
